What was our team tasked with?

Reconstruction of men’s and women’s restrooms – 1st and 2nd floors.

How did we deal with it?

For our long-standing client, Mint Investments, a.s., we renovated the men’s and women’s restrooms in the Polygon House office building in Prague. The project followed on from a previous successful toilet modernization in another building and maintained the same basic design concept. The main goal was to create an aesthetically attractive, functional and durable environment that meets modern standards.

Implementation of tiles, paving, doors and furnishings

The design in this implementation is based on the same concept as in the previous project. We installed gray lacquered doors with M&T handles, which are coordinated with the floor tiles in imitation of anthracite gray stone. We also used this decor in the form of a mosaic on the walls, thus achieving visual unity of the space. For the walls, we again chose white tiles in the format of 60×30 cm, which helps to optically brighten the interior.

Washbasin cabinets, dispensers and mirror section

Unlike the previous implementation, in this project we supplied washbasin cabinets with a Corian sink, while the cabinet is made in oak wood decor, which adds a pleasant natural element to the space. The soap dispenser is built directly into the sink top next to the faucet, which ensures a clean and elegant look. Stainless steel paper towel dispensers are placed on the walls next to the washbasin cabinet. The mirror is set above the washbasin cabinet directly in the tiling, which contributes to the holistic and modern look of the interior.

Result

Thanks to careful planning and precise execution, we have created a space that not only meets high demands for functionality and aesthetics, but also provides maximum comfort to users.
