What was our team tasked with?

We recently successfully completed the implementation of offices for our client in the center of Prague, specifically in the Myslbek building, near Wenceslas Square. Thanks to our long-term cooperation and mutual trust, we had the honor of participating in this order, where we provided both construction work and other specific tasks. The project brought many interesting challenges and opportunities for innovation, which we are proud of.

How did we deal with it?

From design to implementation – cooperation with architects

The appearance of the offices was designed by the City Work Architects studio, and our main task was to realize the complete construction part and ensure the production of custom-made furniture. Piece furniture, such as tables, chairs and armchairs, was delivered by CRE8 based on cooperation with the client. Thanks to the coordination of all parties, we have jointly achieved a harmonious overall solution that offers a modern and comfortable working environment. The reception desk, which is the focal point of the entrance part of the offices, was made of premium Hanex material. This material not only gives the reception a modern and clean look, but is also very durable and practical for everyday use. The reception was further supplemented with a light logo, which gives the space a distinctive and professional character.

As part of improving the acoustics, which is essential in open-space offices, we installed not only the HeartFelt acoustic ceiling from Hunter&Douglas, but also quality carpets from the IVC brand, which help dampen noise and create a more pleasant work environment. Another important element were the glass partitions, which we realized in cooperation with the company Verti. These partitions feature unusual white frames that look fresh and elegant. Mostly, the frames of the glass partitions are designed in darker shades, such as anthracite, but the white color gave the space lightness and a timeless look. The entire interior thus combines modern design, a high level of craftsmanship and technological innovations that ensure comfort and productivity at the highest level.

Revitalization of outdoor terraces and other work on the building

The project included not only the offices themselves, but also two outdoor terraces. Here, we carried out a complete replacement of the paving, installation of pergolas and planting of new greenery, which made the space cozier. Even the building administration itself was actively involved in the project, for example during the renovation of the floor on the terraces or when replacing the entrance door to the terrace.

Logistical challenges and technological progress

Due to the location of the building in the center of Prague, specifically in Na Příkopě street, we had to move some materials and products with the help of a crane. This process included not only transporting the pergola to the terrace, but also moving the custom-made reception desk or installing a security blind. The technological highlight of the project was the implementation of the new MaR system, which makes it possible to control the entire office via touch screens – from blinds to temperature control.

Result

The project for Mint Investments brought an innovative solution and a functional space that is perfectly adapted to the needs of a modern office. We are happy that we could contribute to its successful implementation in the center of Prague.
